Street Donation in Willamsburg Brooklyn

On March 27th, We, ONE, went to Bedford, Willamsburg.
Thank you all people there for taking the time for us and We sincerely appreciate the donations you contributed to Japan.
Also We appreciate that Your advices,  prays, and messages that were very very helpful and encouraging.

Any suggestions you may have would enhance our fund-raising

We collected the donation $284.64 today.

I'll update you constantly.
Again, thank you so much for your help.

We have been deciding Where we should send the donations you gave us Because trying to find the most trustworthy organization and having the donations contributed effectively.

These are choices we have now.

• New York Japanese-American Lions Club      https://sites.google.com/site/nyjalionsclubeng/new-york-japanese-american-lions-club-japan-earthquake-fund  -They guarantee that ALL donations( 100%) will be given directly to the affected area.

• Government of the Prefecture of Fukushima    http://www.pref.fukushima.jp/index_e.html

Since one of our members, Koki, is from Fukushima, at which those damaged nuclear reactors are located, and his family still lives there.

Koki Takahashi

The elevated radiation level has caused people there to move out of their homes and also relief supplies haven't provided enough because of the fear of the radioactive  material. We have an access to the office of Government of the Prefecture of Fukushima through Koki's mother and think that It is a good idea to give the donations to Fukushima Prefecture directly.

We will keep looking up and keep you updated.
If you have any suggestions, Please share with us.

All the best,

What’s ONE
On March 11th, The biggest earthquake in the recorded history, recorded as magnitude 9.0, slammed the Northeastern Japan that caused a devastating tsunami, a fear of radioactive contamination, and other serious problems that plague our families, friends, and people in Japan.
We are working to raise funds that will be given to Japan in order to help them recover as soon as possible. Besides, We are performing encouraging projects such as videos, photographs, and music.
We would like you to know the catastrophic situation and to act for Japan.

Where your funds are going
All donations collected will be given to a public institution through a humanitarian organization which allows us to ask how donation will be distributed.
